Installing a major appliance can be a hassle without the experience of a professional installer. Here are some tips on making your installation a smooth, trouble-free experience.

PATHWAYS

Please make sure there is a clear path (wider than the appliance being delivered) from the entrance of your home to the area in which we will be performing work. TCI will not be held responsible for damage done to items that are clearly obstructing the path to and from the work area. If you wish to have us enter/exit through a garage, please make sure that vehicles are moved out of the way.

DISHWASHERS | GARBAGE DISPOSALS | ICE MAKER LINES

Please remove any items from underneath the kitchen sink. This area is where the majority of connections need to be made.

WALL OVENS | SLIDE INS | DROP INS | FREESTANDING RANGES

Please remove any items from drawers or cabinets above or below the appliance. Many times cabinets will need to be adjusted which can result in saw dust accumulating in these areas.

MICROWAVE OVENS | RANGE HOODS

Please remove any items from the cabinets above where the appliance is being mounted. Additionally, please remove items within 2 feet of either side on the countertop as well as any items placed directly on the range top or rear control panel.

WALL AIR CONDITIONER | WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER

If the type of installation you are having done requires cutting a new hole through a concrete block wall, please cover or remove any items from the room that you do not wish to get dusty! If you have furniture or other items within 6 feet of the work area, please remove them. If the items are too large or heavy, TCI will move them for you, however, TCI will not be held responsible for any damage done during the process of moving such items.

If there is foliage such as trees, shrubs, vines, flower pots, etc., please trim them so we may gain access to all sides of the air conditioner on the outside wall. Any foliage that is not trimmed or cut out of the way to perform the necessary work will be cut or trimmed at the discretion of TCI, and additionally, we will not be held responsible for any damage or uneven trimming done to foliage.
